Clavichords

„The Klavier or Klavichord is commonly so well known, that I do not want to trouble my reader with a superfluous description..."

Daniel Gottlob Türk, „Clavierschule oder Anweisung zum Clavierspielen für Lehrer und Lernende“, 1789

Today clavichords are no longer well known but they still possess a subtle yet surprisingly powerful access to the feelings of both player and listener. They are also capable of creating and furnishing an intense interaction with the player. For centuries they have been highly valued teachers and friends.
